The logistics of transportation in the Niger Delta created a need for specialized transportation for Oil and Gas Operations, particularly the movement of personnel and material for offshore operations. In addition, efficient VIP movement from communities and towns within the Niger Delta was difficult, as water transportation, often via narrow creeks, was the only means of travel. As we identified the deficiency of service for the Oil and Gas industries and for movement of VIPs, we initially provided helicopter shuttle services to offshore locations and local sites within the Niger Delta. The helicopter transport service grew so quickly that our company was required to hire third-party helicopters to meet customer demand. Because of this, we inaugurated Azikel Air Ltd. to provide helicopter transportation, as well as non-scheduled passenger air transportation services within and outside of Nigeria
